Tuesday Tip – Hand Sewing While you Wait

People ask me how I get so much hand sewing done. Here’s a little rhyme and a Tuesday Tip all in one.

When you are traveling
and you don’t have anything to do,
take out your thread and fabric
and stitch an hour or two.

Even if you aren’t traveling, no matter where you go, there is always time to wait. And when there is time to wait, there is time to sew!

I will take my hand stitching EVERYWHERE.

Bonus Tuesday Tip:

I use blue painters tape to mark my lines. It sticks to fabric, but comes off easily without leaving any sticky stuff behind. It works for machine quilting too!

You’ll be surprised how much you can accomplish when you fill those waiting minutes  with stitches!
